Just got back from an oil change at the dealership (warranty induced). Sales guy said they are taking limited orders for the RS beginning October 19th with a tentative build date of January. They don’t have anything set for when they will be ready, all he could guess was late February to early March. They are doing most if not all of the manufacturing in Germany so expect some potential delays in seeing one on the street.

The cars should be hitting dealerships late Q1 early Q2. Be on the look out I can guarantee that there will be a handful roaming the streets a week or two before the official release of the cars to the dealers. I really wanted to pick up one of the first but I needed a car for the winter so I picked up my BMW 335ix. Really wished it came out earlier >:|

People need to buy them like crazy so sometime down the road I can justify getting one used. A new one is completely justifiable but just not for me at the moment.

I have to agree with you. My FoST is barely a year old and have a house and family to support. So, while I yearn desperately for an RS I know that if I want to purchase one new I will have to wait a few years. Hopefully they stay in production for a couple years!

I get the feeling they will last until the next facelift at least. We’re in a new golden age for performance and Ford is happy doing whatever they please to push the envelope.
